Hi there!

"Level is given from B5:AF5 and Basic is given below the level accordingly so my query is e.g. level is 13 (given in G48 that I may change it) and basic is 53600 (given in H48 that I may change it) from the above table………. so If I write Previous Level e.g. 10 then in the column of level no 10 the number which is adjacent to less than 53600 should come. Similarly if I change the Previous Level number, it should change automatically"

I’m not sure that I know what you mean.

a) At level 13, what are the criteria for why it would be 53,600 at H48?

b) Then if it's changed from 13 to 10, what is the answer that it would be and why?

Could you please clarify that?

the criteria is upon level.
if I change level 10 or 9 or 3 or any level that I decide so, from that level, it should be closely lesser than 53600 e.g.
Because an employee has been pramoted to level 13 from 10 so If I need to check his previous basic from level 10........so it is

I want Closer Value of the Data i.e. Less than Closer of the Value
note cell G48,H48,G49 are manual input.i mean to find closer value of H48.

It's still not clear exactly for the less than closer of value.

If these cells are manual input --
G48 = 13
H48 = 53600
G49 = 10

what is the closer that you would like to be?
I mean what's the number that H49 would be from B6:AF45 ???


The number at H49 that need you to provide is the main point to find the right solution, please...

How the number 52600 comes out, I mean what are the criteria that this number comes out?
